Exciting opportunities at Yanchep Secondary College 🔨

This year, we’re proud to be partnering with Yanchep Institute (RTO 52780) to support 13 of our students as they work towards their CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways.

To celebrate the end of Term 1, students enjoyed a well earned BBQ after almost completing their third unit. A fantastic achievement! 👏

They’ve recently started developing their bricklaying skills, and we’re excited to see their progress continue next term.

Well done to all students involved! 🌟

Thursday 8 January | Hands-on, 1-day workshop

Want to improve your honey extraction skills?

This practical workshop is all about maximising the amount and quality of honey you extract from your frames. We’ll walk through the full extraction process - from uncapping through to filtering and packaging - using simple, proven techniques in a clean lab environment.

It’s suitable whether you’re new to extraction or looking to refine your process and get better results.

You’ll learn how to:
• Uncap frames efficiently using different tools
• Extract honey properly using a spinner
• Improve yield without damaging the honey
• Filter for cleaner, clearer honey
• Recover wax and package your honey

🍯 Everyone leaves with their own jar of extracted honey
