We’ve had so many messages recently asking what support we currently have available for Term 3, so we thought it was time for a little update! 💛

Whether your child needs a confidence boost in Literacy or Numeracy, you're looking for support with homeschooling, or you simply feel like they would benefit from a calm, personalised learning environment, we'd love to chat.

At Excel and Empowered Minds, we intentionally keep our groups small so every child feels seen, supported and receives the targeted help they need. It's never about squeezing more students into a class - it's about making sure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow and build confidence.

We currently have availability in:
✨ Year 1/2 Literacy
✨ Year 3/4 Numeracy
✨ Homeschool Drop & Go (Years 3-6)
✨ A handful of after-school and Saturday morning 1:1 sessions
✨ Some daytime homeschooling sessions

If you're not quite sure which option would suit your child best, that's absolutely okay. One of my favourite parts of my job is chatting with families, learning about your child, and helping you find the right fit.

We’re looking for passionate people—whether you’re an Education Assistant, a Teacher, or a 3rd/4th year Education Student - to join our supportive, community-focused team in Yanchep.

The response has been great, but we have had fewer responses from WA, than from the eastern states. We are really keen to hear more from those in Western Australia, to ensure that you are represented.

Our team of experienced home educators, who are also university researchers, want to understand your experiences and approaches, and what supports and resources are helpful. We want to build a comprehensive picture of home education in Australia.

We are inviting anyone who is currently home educating, has home educated in the last ten years, or wanted to home educate but wasn’t able to, to fill out an anonymous, online survey.
The survey is taking about 40 minutes to complete. You can complete it in multiple sessions, saving your progress as you go.

The survey is long, but few questions are compulsory to answer.

You can read full information about the project and the researchers when you go to the survey.

Please also pass this on to anyone you know who fits the criteria. We want to hear from as many home educators in Australia as possible, registered or unregistered. It is a completely anonymous survey.

We’ve had so many enquiries come through recently, and we’re so excited to share what’s currently available.

Our Drop & Go program is now open for PP–Year 2 homeschooling families, with only 1–2 places remaining. This has been highly requested, so we don’t expect these spots to last long.

We are also now taking EOI’s for a new Year 3–6 Drop & Go program, as our current group is fully booked - which has been so lovely to see.

Across our tutoring programs, we still have spaces in most small groups (with typically 4 children per group) to ensure each child receives the very best, targeted support.

There are also very limited 1:1 sessions available after school, along with some daytime availability for homeschooling families.

If you’re unsure what might be the best fit, I’ve opened up a small number of phone chat times tomorrow and next week so we can talk through your child’s needs and see if we’re the right fit for your family.

These spaces will move quickly, but we are continuing to add availability where we can so no child misses out on the support they need.
