🌼 Stepping Down as President

After six years as President of the Riser P&C, I’ve made the decision to step down from the role. With our baby boy arriving in January 2027 and our four‑month‑old niece now in our care full‑time, my family commitments have grown, and it’s time for me to prioritise home life.

Serving our school community has been one of the greatest honours of my life. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together — the events, the support, the connections, and the strong foundation that now carries our P&C forward. As the last OG member, this decision hasn’t been easy emotionally, but it has been easy knowing the school is in good hands.

I’ll still be here in the role of Vice President, supporting our team and our school in any way I can. Riser will always be a big part of my life.

It’s my absolute honour to introduce Cassie as our new P&C President. She has worked beside me all year, stepping into roles so I could gradually step back, and she brings the pride, commitment, and heart we want to see in our P&C leadership. I know she will do an amazing job.

Thank you to our staff, families, and students for trusting me and supporting me over the past six years. I’m excited to see what the future holds for our P&C and our beautiful school community.

Please check your child’s school bags for their Father’s Day forms.

This form is an option for those who want to send their kids will cash.

When you pre pay with cash or online with Spriggy schools, it allows you to let us know in advance how many items or how much you wish your child to spend.

If you decide to send your child with cash on the day of the event, means we can only offer a max of 2 gifts per child.

As we need to ensure there is enough stock for everyone.

If possible, please consider a pre order as it gives our team a chance to buy additional items if needed.

I hope this helps anyone new to our school who hasn’t taken part in our market events before

Today we celebrate Australian Primary Principals Day ♥️

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Principal, Ms Demiris, for your exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and genuine care for each and every student, staff member and family at Yanchep Rise.

Of course, no great leader could do it alone. A huge thank you to our wonderful Deputy Principals—Ms Hart, Mrs Cowling, Miss Kelly and Mrs Wilson—for your incredible support, teamwork and dedication. Your guidance, encouragement and commitment to our students, staff and school community are truly appreciated.

The passion, vision and commitment you show inspires us every day, and your tireless efforts help make our school the welcoming, supportive and thriving community that it is. We are so grateful for everything you all do—much of it behind the scenes—to ensure our students have every opportunity to succeed.

Today we celebrate and thank you for the positive difference you make every single day. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding leadership team at Yanchep Rise.

We currently only have one active P&C member, everyone is off sick and I am off for personal level as I am pregnant and have a new foster baby at home.

If Staff or volunteers can’t attend breakfast club, it may get closed last minute so please keep an eye on our Facebook and on compass.

If you can help at all please let us know asap - those who attend breakfast often please pack extra snacks or fruit for your kids in case they rock up to a close breakfast club

As we all know with illness it’s unpredictable and we hope our team has a speedy recovery and many prayers to their families that it doesn’t spread and prolong the recovery.

We are only human and things happen

Please respect the last minute changes as they are out of our hands

WEDNESDAY should be fine as that is run by the staff and not community members
