💙 P&C Father’s Day Market 💙
Week 7 - starts Monday 31 August!
Your child has been sent home with a paper form for cash pre‑pay. Orders are also available online with Spriggy Schools — it’s time to get excited!

This annual event lets kids choose a gift for someone special 💝 and helps raise important funds for our school.
Even if you’ve already got Father’s Day plans, please join in to support our P&C and school community — and share the fun! 🎉

🚫 No Breakfast Club - FRIDAY 21 AUGUST 🚫

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be NO BREAKFAST CLUB tomorrow, Friday 21 August.

As there is no before school club on this day, the school gates will open at 8.15am. Please ensure your child arrives to school after this time, as there is no supervision prior.

Book Week is coming! 🎷🪗
Book Week will take place at Yanchep Rise next week, in Week 5.

The schedule for the Book Week Parades are as follows:

▪️Friday August 21st at 8.45am in the Undercover Area for Pre-Primary to Year 6.

▪️Kindy Parades will take place in the ECE area at 8.30am sharp:
Wednesday August 19th at 8.30am for Kindy 1 & Kindy 3
Friday August 21st at 8.30am for Kindy 2 & 4

We can't wait to see all your amazing costumes!! 🤗

Please check your child’s school bags for their Father’s Day forms.

This form is an option for those who want to send their kids will cash.

When you pre pay with cash or online with Spriggy schools, it allows you to let us know in advance how many items or how much you wish your child to spend.

If you decide to send your child with cash on the day of the event, means we can only offer a max of 2 gifts per child.

As we need to ensure there is enough stock for everyone.

If possible, please consider a pre order as it gives our team a chance to buy additional items if needed.

I hope this helps anyone new to our school who hasn’t taken part in our market events before

🚨 Please note that due to maintenance in the WETJ bike rack area on Friday 14th August, students will be unable to store their bikes and scooters in this area.

If students ride to school they will need to place their bikes/scooters in the NGOOLARK bike racks at the rear of the school. Thank you for your patience.

Have you got a puppy as cute as Coco?

Do they love to run and frolic along the beach?

Years ago, our family had the most beautiful paired rescue dogs, Muddle and Hobbes and Muddy would often forget how old he was and frolic and then spend the next day feeling sorry for himself. Hobbes didn’t love the waves and would hang out w me on dog beaches, keeping watch over Muddy. 🐶🐶🥺

A lot of local people raise the need for more dog beaches and enclosed dog parks with me and my team.

There’s now a consultation about whether new dog beaches should be created at Alkimos and Two Rocks - see below in the comments.

Please feel free to get in touch via email and let us know your thoughts, and we will make sure everyone’s views are sent to the local council.

May everyone frolic on beaches with as much job as our puppies do!

Today we celebrate Australian Primary Principals Day ♥️

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Principal, Ms Demiris, for your exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and genuine care for each and every student, staff member and family at Yanchep Rise.

Of course, no great leader could do it alone. A huge thank you to our wonderful Deputy Principals—Ms Hart, Mrs Cowling, Miss Kelly and Mrs Wilson—for your incredible support, teamwork and dedication. Your guidance, encouragement and commitment to our students, staff and school community are truly appreciated.

The passion, vision and commitment you show inspires us every day, and your tireless efforts help make our school the welcoming, supportive and thriving community that it is. We are so grateful for everything you all do—much of it behind the scenes—to ensure our students have every opportunity to succeed.
