Our Book Parade is just around the corner!

Students are encouraged to dress as their favourite book character and join us for a fun-filled morning of parading, prizes and Book Week excitement.

The morning will include:

🌟 Our fantastic Book Parade
❓ Exciting quiz prize draws
🐛 Bookworm guessing competition results revealed
🎨 Colouring-in competition winners and runners-up announced

We can’t wait to see our favourite stories come to life.

Just 2 weeks to go until Sounds of Japan comes to Yamba, and we’ve got some exciting things for the kids...

TAIKO DRUMMING WORKSHOPS! 🥁🔥

Kids will get the chance to pick up the big Japanese taiko drums, learn some traditional rhythms and have a go at drumming together with the amazing Byron Taiko team.

Perfect for kids who love music, trying new things and getting active!

All colouring in competition entries due into the library or to the classroom teachers by this Friday, Week 5. Judging will occur on Monday and winners will be announced at our Book Parade on Wednesday of next week.

BOOK FAIR NOW OPEN!

Our Book Fair is officially open and will be here for the next two weeks!

There is a wide variety of exciting books to choose from, with something for different ages and interests. A great selection of stationery is also available. Books start from just $5, and prices can be found on the back of each book. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Book fairs are a wonderful way to encourage a love of reading while supporting our school library. Our library receives 20% of all Book Fair sales, which goes towards purchasing new books and resources for our students.

Last year, our school community achieved more than $5,000 in Book Fair sales, providing over $1,000 for new library resources. It was a fantastic result, let’s work together to beat it this year.

Come along, have a browse and discover your next great read. Every purchase helps our library collection continue to grow. Thank you for supporting our Book Fair and our school library.
