🌱🐮 Messy play is an essential part of early childhood education, and in our babies' room, our wonderful team set up a fun farm animals experience in mud! There’s something magical about watching little ones immerse themselves in hands-on experiences that stimulate their senses and encourage creative play. As they squish their fingers into the cool, mucky texture, they’re not just having fun – they’re learning!

Every splash and squelch is a chance for exploration and discovery. These moments help develop fine motor skills, spark imagination, and foster social interactions with their peers. As children engage with the farm animals, they begin to understand the world around them, building connections between nature, animals, and their own experiences. 🌍✨

Stretch, breathe, and play! Yoga helps children develop mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional regulation in a fun and engaging way 🧘‍♀️🌈

As our Pelican children prepare for the transition to school, they’re also learning that rest can look a little different. While they may not all need naps like they did when they were younger, they’re discovering new ways to recharge their bodies and minds.
Quiet time on mats, calming yoga, visual stories and reflective drawing or journaling are all part of helping slow down, reset, and build healthy habits for the next stage of their learning journey.
