Tomorrow, students can be picked up from school at 12:15 pm and should arrive at Core Stadium by 12:30 pm to enjoy lunch together 🍽️😊
Our Christmas Concert and Awards Presentation will begin at 1:30 pm, and we are so excited to celebrate our students, their achievements, and all their hard work this year 🌟🏆👏

📄 School reports will be handed out at the stadium following the presentation.

🌱🍜 Garden to Plate Magic at Yalgoo! 🍜🌱

Today we were thrilled to welcome Miss Briar from EON, who arrived with a car full of pots, herbs, and fresh ingredients 🚗🌿

Our students jumped straight in 💪—chopping veggies 🥕🧅 for delicious ninja noodles 🍜, while another group got creative decorating Christmas pots 🎄🖌️ and planting healthy herbs to grow at home 🌱

After a feast of scrumptious noodles 😋, the finished pots became beautiful Christmas gifts for our families 🎁❤️ What a perfect way to combine learning, teamwork, creativity, and healthy living!

A huge thank you to Briar — you are an absolute legend 🌟💚
And thank you to EON for always thinking of us and supporting our students to love gardening 🌿, green thumbs 🙌, and healthy food 🥗

🎉🎄Festive Fun & Final Week Celebrations! ✨The last week of school 2025 is here – and we made it! 🏫👏

We’re so excited for a big surprise this Monday morning – a special visit from the lovely Briar from EON! She’ll help us kick off the festive season with fun Christmas creations in the kitchen, classroom, and garden. 🌟🎨

On Tuesday, we’re looking forward to our final Red Dog Reading session and last-minute rehearsals for the end-of-year concert and Christmas party. 🎶🎉

Wednesday is going to be magical! We’ll start with lunch at The Core Stadium at 12:30 pm, followed by our Christmas concert and Awards Presentation at 1:30 pm, and then the Christmas Party. 🥳🏆

It’s the perfect time to celebrate our school community, student achievements, and say farewell to our Year 6 graduates. Every student has had an amazing year of learning and growth – let’s finish with fun, laughter, and festive cheer! 🎅🎁✨

📚🎉 Almost the End… but We’re Finishing STRONG! 💪🌟

What an unbelievable Week 9 at Yalgoo! 🤩💛
👏 Attendance has been outstanding!
A huge thank you to our families for keeping our kids at school, learning, laughing and finishing the year with pride. Your support makes all the difference. ❤️🏫

This week we also said a big thank you — and see you again in 2026 — to the amazing GSAC and FairGame teams! 🎉
Our students enjoyed balls-and-chalk games, packed with fun, hands-on learning and plenty of smiles. They explored healthy ears and lungs, the school was buzzing with excitement! ❤️👂🫁✨❤️👂🫁✨

🍳 Friday’s Community Breakfast was another massive turnout — we filled (and spilled out of!) the undercover area. Thank you to every family member who shared a meal with us. Nothing beats that Yalgoo community spirit! 🫶

👮‍♀️ Constable Sian from Mullewa joined us to present our Merit Awards and Golden Tickets, and our school captains shone brightly as they proudly presented the PBS Awards. Amazing leadership from our students! 🎖️🌟

🎒 100% Attendance Legends!
Two students took home awesome showbags 🎁
And many students earned their swimming certificates — with some jumping TWO levels! So proud! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️💙

💦🛝 PBS Reward Event = Slippery Slide Fun!
To top it all off, we wrapped up the week with our slippery slide PBS reward afternoon — the perfect mix of laughter, water and pure joy! A huge shout-out to Mr Murray and our captains for setting everything up. Absolute champions! 🙌

What a day… what a week… what a SCHOOL! 🌈✨
We are so proud of every student and so grateful for our staff, families and community.

Amazing to see so many families this afternoon supporting their children as they discover books they love ❤️📖 and build their reading skills! 🙌👦👧

✨ 3D Christmas Magic at Yalgoo Primary! ✨🎄

After a week of creating, writing wonderful camp recounts, and crafting heartfelt thank you letters, our students had a fantastic day making Christmas dioramas — three-dimensional replicas of festive scenes — in their classrooms, under the wonderful guidance of Miss Sally. 🎨🌟

Here, the students learned how to construct 3D objects, developing both creativity and hands-on skills.

They were so excited to show their final projects to the Principal, and the smiles said it all! 😊

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, imagination, and enthusiasm.
