And that's a wrap on AFTA 2026!

This year we delivered 500+sqm of exhibition space across two of the industry’s leading brands: Shimano and Pure Fishing.

Two very different stands, a busy few days, and a whole lot of hard work from our production, logistics and onsite teams to bring it all together.

Since 2022, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Irizar to deliver exhibition environments that evolve alongside their brand.

For the 2026 Australasia Bus & Coach Expo, that meant designing and building an 892.5sqm stand showcasing five full-size coaches, supported by premium hospitality spaces, custom-built features and plenty of room for visitors to explore.

10 years of building with KONAMI.

For a decade, we’ve worked alongside Konami Australia and AGE 2026 was another big exhibition presence.

Spanning 480sqm, this year’s stand featured a large-scale mezzanine, extensive custom graphics, illuminated KONAMI branding, integrated AV, hospitality and dedicated meeting spaces.

Twin 10m rigged banners and overhead lighting delivered visibility across the show floor, while the stand itself was designed for product demonstration, meetings and hospitality.

This is a partnership we’re incredibly proud of.

A massive thank you to the Estore Logistics Australia team for trusting us with your Online Retailer Conference and Expo 2026 stand!

Industrial finishes, oversized graphics, illuminated branding, a giant 98” screen and plenty of custom fabrication brought the whole thing together into a stand that felt unmistakably e-Store, drawing inspo directly from their warehouse environments.

The product plinth was engineered to support more than 200kg so it could hold one of their 350+ autonomous mobile robots without breaking a sweat. Probably the most overqualified plinth we’ve ever built.

Huge credit to Seb and Hayden for driving this one and to the entire eStore team for making the process an absolute pleasure.

Working alongside Michelle at Australian Exhibition & Event Consulting Services , we delivered Snackbrands Australia’s "Best Sellers" Arcade for Metcash Expo 2026 - an exhibition stand packed with colour, nostalgia and plenty of interaction.

Conceptualised by AEEC Services, the stand featured a custom Cheezels pinball machine, illuminated features, oversized product graphics, product sampling areas and meeting spaces, all within an 18sqm footprint.

Our team handled the custom fabrication, project management, logistics and installation, working closely with Michelle throughout the project to bring every detail together.

A big thank you to AEEC Services for trusting us with this build. Collaborations with incredible people in our industry like this are always a pleasure.

July has been a big one.

We’ve been a little quieter than usual on socials because the team has been flat out delivering projects across the country.

Last week we wrapped up at the 2026 Australasia Bus & Coach Expo, installing over 2,300sqm of exhibition space for 7 clients after months of planning and a multi-day bump-in.

A huge effort from every single one of our team. We’re incredibly proud of what we delivered, and even prouder of the relationships that see our clients trust us with projects of this scale each show year.

Last week, the Grand Stand Events team were OOO for our latest offsite!

These give us the chance to step away from the day-to-day, connect as a team, celebrate our wins, own our losses, and have the honest conversations that help keep us pushing forward.

We are firm believers that every project, process and interaction is an opportunity to be 1% better than yesterday and after a full day of brainstorming, talking and getting honest? We came away with a huge sense of achievement from the last year, a stack of new ideas, fresh perspectives, and a reminder of just how strong we are as a team.

We wrapped things up with a three-hour hike through the majestic Blue Mountains. There was wind, rain and absolutely freezing temperatures, but it was the perfect opportunity to switch off, reset, and spend time together outside the office (something that’s every bit as valuable as the deep strategy sessions).

These offsites always remind us that while we’re known for our builds? The most important thing we’ve built is our incredible team.
