St Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School, Wyong is a systemic Catholic Primary School within the Diocese of Broken Bay under the leadership of Bishop David Walker. A full house at Bright Beginnings today!

Our future 2027 Kindies enjoyed a special Book Week visit with Mrs Ross in the library, spending time with their 2027 buddies and getting to know their future school environment.

Bright Beginnings is just one part of our extensive Kindergarten transition program, helping the children feel confident, connected, and excited for school. Every monthly session helps the children feel right at home before their first day of Kindergarten. 💙

R U OK? 💛 Today is R U OK Day, our national day of action when we are reminded to check in on our family and friends, to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation that could change their life.

This year's theme is 'Ask R U OK? Any Day', and there are some great resources for our primary school aged children to introduce them to R U OK Day, and the four steps of an R U OK? conversation to support a friend.

Head to the link below for a range of age-appropriate videos, colouring pages and fun activities that may just spark them to identify when a friend is feeling down, and give them the tools to help them, or to tell an adult 🫶

Congratulations to Catalina on receiving a special Reading Award from Federal Member for Dobell, Emma McBride.

Catalina was selected for this honour in recognition of her outstanding borrowing habits, demonstrated through her regular and consistent engagement with our school’s extensive library collection. She continually challenges herself with a diverse range of reading choices and is always eager to recommend great novels to her peers.

Day 2 BATHURST
Year 5 began the day with a hearty breakfast. They met Brian the tour guide again, at the Historic Court House for a tour of the museum. They then enjoyed a scavenger hunt in Machattie Park, a beautiful, heritage listed Victorian park. Early lunch was had before boarding the bus and we are in our way home. Making good time!

What an incredible afternoon at our Family Bingo Fundraiser!

My heart was so full seeing so many families come together for an afternoon of fun, laughter and friendly competition. Congratulations to so many lucky winners who took home some fantastic prizes!

A very special thank you to our key organisers, Adriana and Aine, who worked closely with our PEC, Jo Helm. Without their vision, commitment and vibrant energy, this incredible event simply would not have been possible.

Thank you also to all the families who joined us and supported our community in such a fun and meaningful way. Events like these remind us just how special our school community is.
