Our Beach Kindy author Dannika Patterson has written as new book to celebrate 40 years of Queensland Child Protection Week, Hello, YOU!, which will be launched at the State Library of Queensland this Friday - 4th September.
Developed through a collaboration between Children’s Rights Queensland and the Queensland Child Protection Week Committee, this book shares an important message: keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility.
Families who attend Friday's launch event will receive a free copy of the book, and enjoy a live book reading and fun activities in a welcoming, family-focused atmosphere in the new 'Corner' space at SLQ.
This initiative is funded and supported by Queensland Child Protection Week, Ningana Trust, the Queensland Family and Child Commission, and Children’s Rights Queensland.
All are warmly welcome to attend. Details are here: https://www.slq.qld.gov.au/whats-on/hello-you-book-launch
