A few more moments from Riverfire. 🩷

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing Bay Girls from different generations come together, united by a shared connection to Moreton Bay College.

From catching up with old friends to meeting fellow alumnae for the first time, the event was a wonderful celebration of our alumnae community.

The Arts and Technology Centre is taking shape, with the second floor now under construction.

Representatives from the Board, Parents and Friends Association, Moreton Bay Colleges’ Foundation and College Leadership Team recently toured the site and saw the progress firsthand.

The scale of the building is already evident. Once complete, the Centre will provide outstanding spaces for girls to explore creativity, innovation and emerging industry pathways.

What a Term 3! ✨

From Founders' Day and Reconnect at Riverfire to the Greene-Ware Collective Exhibition, sporting achievements and community celebrations, Term 3 was a memorable chapter in Moreton Bay College's 125-year history.

Throughout the term, students represented the College in sport, showcased their talents through music, dance and the arts, and embraced learning opportunities in and beyond the classroom.

Thank you to our students, families, staff and alumnae who helped make this term so special.

We wish our College community a safe and restful break and look forward to the opportunities that Term 4 will bring. 🩷

Crazy Tie Day returned to MBC today, marking the last time the Class of 2026 will wear their 'blues'.

Year 12 girls wore colourful, personalised ties decorated with photos, messages and memories from their years at the College.

As they prepare to enter their final term, it was a fitting way to reflect on the friendships, experiences and milestones that have shaped their time at MBC.

Congratulations to the MBC Athletics Team on a strong performance at yesterday's QGSSSA Championships.

Many students achieved season and personal bests, contributing to a second-place finish in the Stephens Cup and helping MBC retain the Del Mellefont Percentage Cup. 🏆

These results reflect the commitment, consistency and teamwork shown throughout the season and on competition day.

Thank you to our coaching staff, families and athletes for the effort and support that made this season possible.

We are proud of all that the team has achieved this season. 🩷

At Moreton Bay College, sharing moments from College life helps us celebrate our students, their achievements and the experiences that shape our community.

We also have a responsibility to think carefully about what we share publicly.

Following recent guidance from the eSafety Commissioner, and as online environments continue to change, we are strengthening our long-standing practice around the use of student images and identifying information across our public platforms. This builds on the care we already take with the images we select, the information we publish alongside them and how students are represented online.

We will continue to explore the safest ways to celebrate our students and tell the stories of learning, friendship, achievement and participation that make MBC what it is, with their privacy and online safety at the centre of our decisions.

We are also looking at how families can have greater clarity and choice about the use of their child's image across College platforms. We will share more with families as this work progresses.

Thank you for working with us to create a safe and respectful online environment for every MBC student.
