Grade 6 Popcorn Fundraiser!

We’re ending the term with a delicious fundraiser!

During the last week of school for the term, our Grade 6 students will be selling freshly popped, buttery popcorn at both recess and lunch.

**$2 per bag**

The popcorn stand will be set up on the edge of the basketball court, so students can easily grab a bag during their break.

All profits from the popcorn sales will go towards the Grade 6 Graduation Fundraising, helping our Grade 6 students celebrate their final year of primary school.

We hope our students enjoy a tasty treat while supporting our wonderful Grade 6 students!

Just a reminder to families,

On Friday 18th September we will be holding our annual Footy Colours Day. We encourage all students to come dressed in their favourite footy team colours. This can be from any code of sport that they support. We will be holding a 9am assembly to help celebrate and we invite all families to attend . As this is the last day of term - students will finish school at 2:05pm. Their Care will be available from the earlier time.

What a wonderful morning we had celebrating Father’s Day at Riverbend today!
It was fantastic to welcome so many dads, significant male role models and a few mums into our school to spend some special time completing an activity with their child/ren. There were lots of happy faces, plenty of laughter and so many smiles around the school.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a success.
We wish all of our wonderful Riverbend dads and father figures a very Happy Father’s Day this Sunday!

Today we launched our PERRI postcards. Earlier in the year we asked students to choose a PERRI value and design the front of a postcard to be used as part of our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) program. We ended up with 7 winners and their artwork was made into postcards that will be sent home with students who show PERRI values in an extra-special way. Families will be notified on Compass if their child receives a postcard and they will bring it home to share with you.
