Today, our Year 3 and 4 students travelled to Soverign Hill for an exciting journey into Australia's gold rush era. Through hands-on activities, interactive exhibits and historical demonstrations, students explored what life was like in the 1850s and gained a deeper understanding of this important period in our nation's history.
From wandering the historic streets and visiting traditional shops to discovering stories of the goldfields, the day was filled with curiosity, learning and fun. Students represented our school beautifully and embraced every opportunity to learn from the past.
A wonderful day of exploration, discovery and unforgettable experiences!

Today our staff came together for a meaningful Spirituality Day, taking time to pause, reflect and reconnect with our shared mission as a Catholic school community.
Through prayer, conversation and reflection, we explored ways to deepen our faith, strengthen our relationships and continue nurturing a culture of hope, compassion and belonging for all.
Spirituality Day provided a valuable opportunity to grow together, celebrate our community and be renewed in our commitment to supporting the wellbeing and learning of every student.
We are grateful for the gift of this time together and look forward to carrying these insights into our work each day.

Today we had some new signs installed at the front of our school, helping to make our school even more welcoming and reflective of who we are as a community.
Featuring our school branding and the inspiring words of Saint Mary MacKillop, these additions are a visible reminder of the values that guide us each day:
"May the spirit of unity and love reign amongst us."
As students, staff and families walk through our grounds, may these words continue to inspire us to live with faith, kindness and a strong sense of belonging.
We are proud to see our school environment growing in ways that celebrate our Catholic identity and the spirit of our community 💙💚

Last week, our Year 1 students enjoyed a very special camp experience right here at school!
The afternoon was filled with fun, laughter and excitement as students gathered around the campfire, enjoyed delicious hot chocolates with marshmallows, participated in scavenger hunts, played games and joined in sing-alongs with their friends.
It was wonderful to see our students building friendships, developing independence and creating lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.
A huge thank you to our staff for making this experience so enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved.
We are so proud of the enthusiasm, courage and positive spirit our Year 1 students showed throughout the evening. What a fantastic camp adventure!

Step back in time with Year 2!
Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Werribee Park Mansion, where they explored what life was like 150 years ago.
Visiting the children's room gave a glimpse into the clothing, toys and daily experiences of children from the past.
It was a fantastic day of learning where students compared life today to life in the past at one of Werribee’s local treasures!

Our Year 1 students enjoyed a fascinating journey through time yesterday with Supreme Incursions' Toys from the Past experience!
Through hands-on exploration, students discovered how toys have changed over time by investigating their design, movement and purpose. They explored a range of toy themes, including wind-up toys, construction activities and dress-ups, while learning about the cultural significance of toys and their place in history.
This engaging incursion helped bring History to life, encouraging students to think about how children played in different times and places and how toy design has evolved over the years.
What a wonderful day of curiosity, discovery and learning!

Last night, we were blessed to celebrate the Sacrament of First Holy Communion with our students and their families.
After a lot of preparation, prayer and learning, our candidates received Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time, marking a significant milestone in their faith journey.
It was a beautiful celebration filled with reverence, joy and gratitude as our community came together to support and celebrate these young people.
We congratulate all of our First Holy Communion candidates and pray that they continue to grow in faith, love and friendship with Jesus.
