A childhood filled with muddy boots, bush and beach adventures, curious questions, stories beneath the trees, unexpected discoveries and plenty of time to simply be little.
At Mudpies and Fireflys, children aren’t expected to fit into one mould. There is room for the bold adventurers, quiet observers, busy bodies, deep thinkers, sensitive souls and those who need a little more time to feel safe.
Here, your child will be:

This isn’t a place where every day looks the same or every child creates the same picture.
Some days we discover creatures, investigate muddy water or follow little feet into the bush. Other days we read, create, care for our animals, build imaginary worlds or simply pause beside the water and watch.
Because childhood doesn’t need to be bigger, busier or more complicated to be meaningful.
It simply needs adults who slow down, notice the magic and understand just how much learning is already happening.

🤎 Families seeking care for other ages are still warmly invited to enquire and, where appropriate, join our waitlist
🏡 A small, home-based Family Day Care environment
🚙 Regular nature and community adventures
🕰️ Open Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
🤝 Registered through Inspired Family Day Care, with eligible families able to claim the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) through Inspired.
