At Fluffy Ducklings we aim to provide all children and families with a warm, safe, caring and inclusive environment allowing children as individuals, and as groups, opportunities to learn, explore and develop. We bel
ieve that positive interactions and relationships with all children are crucial in helping children develop a sense of belonging. We aim to assist children whilst giving them independence in creating their own play, social interactions and learning. We provide children with opportunities encourage them in a way that is enriching, challenging and age appropriate, based on having fun and ensuring the children are able to learn through play. We want to create an environment that, while being safe, gives children endless opportunities to learn about and discover the world around them. Our programs are designed around children’s needs, interests, family and community input; they are prepared to include and reflect all children. We offer a wide range of challenging and stimulating experiences which meet each child’s individual and group needs, helping them to develop at their own pace. The staff at our centre are welcoming, positive role models. They promote good hygiene and health and safety by role modelling as well as encouraging. The centre promotes professional development and training for all staff. We welcome diversity. We believe that all staff, children, families and visitors have the right to be respected. We encourage children to learn about and respect the natural environment. Children are our future and we believe that we need to assist them to grow, develop and learn in every way we can.
