🎡✨ 2026 SGM Fete! Thank You, SGM Community! ✨🎡
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our fete such a wonderful success. From our amazing SGM FACET and Fete Committee, dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, supportive families and hardworking staff, every contribution helped create a memorable evening for our community.
The fete was a fun-filled family afternoon featuring great rides, exciting games, fantastic entertainment and delicious food, creating wonderful memories for everyone who attended. 🎠🎶🍔
The success of the fete is a reflection of the strength, generosity and spirit of our SGM community. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, coordinated, supported and celebrated with us. 🎠🎪🎟️🎉🤝💙

💙 Father's Day at SGM 💙
Last week, we celebrated our wonderful fathers and father figures with a number of special activities! 👨‍👧‍👦✨
Fathers and father figures had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast 🥐☕ or lunch 🍽️ with their students and participate in fun activities together. It was a wonderful way to spend quality time and create special memories. 😊💙
We also held our annual Father's Day Stall, proudly run by our amazing FACET. 🎁👏 A huge thank you to our wonderful FACET members and Rubies 💛 for organising the stall and helping our students select the perfect gifts for their dads and father figures.
We are sure our dads were delighted with the thoughtful gifts chosen by their students, along with the special gift of a pen (Courtesy of the FACET) for every dad! 🖊️🎉
We hope all our fathers and father figures enjoyed a fantastic Father's Day on Sunday and felt celebrated for the important role they play in the lives of our students and families. 💙👨‍👧‍👦🥰

🧡 Bullying No Way Day 🧡

Last Wednesday, SGM proudly participated in Bullying No Way Day, with students and staff wearing orange to show their commitment to kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying.

Throughout the day, our Year 4 Bullying No Way Group and Year 6 Student Council led a range of activities before school and during lunch breaks, encouraging students to spread kindness and strengthen connections within our school community.

Activities included:
🪨 Kindness Rock Painting
💌 Card Making for loved ones or creating a kind message for someone in need of a smile
📿 Bracelet Making
🙌 Morning Welcome and High-Fives from our Year 6 students as everyone arrived at school

A huge thank you to our Year 4 Bullying No Way Group and Year 6 Student Council for their leadership and enthusiasm in making the day such a success. Together, we continue to create a school where everyone feels safe, valued, respected, and included. 🧡
