Sharing Knowledge Across Year Levels
πOur Grade 6 students recently had the wonderful opportunity to showcase their Solar Systemπ projects to our Grade 2 classes in a special show-and-tell session. With both year levels exploring the Solar System as part of the curriculum, this was a fantastic opportunity to connect learning across classes and build a strong sense of community.ππ»
This learning experience was about much more than just presenting work. It highlighted the power of sharing knowledge and the value of peer learning. By explaining their thinking and answering questions, our Grade 6 students further developed their confidence, communication skills, and deeper understanding of the topic.
At the same time, our curious Grade 2 learners were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and even teaching the older students a few fascinating facts about the Moon!ππ
πWell done to all students involved for making this such a meaningful and inspiring experience!

On Thursday last week four students took part in the Readers Cup. Before the event, the girls had to read four novels and then test themselves with different questions to try and remember key events in the story.
πWe travelled out to Peace Lutheran College to compete. There were 42 teams in total. They had to answer 12 questions from each book.
πThe girls did really well and finished 22nd overall.
