It feels awesome to be such a huge fan of my own band😄
I’m reliving the whole journey in my head - recording the drums, waiting for the other instruments to be tracked, then mixing and mastering. After that, getting back together with the band to shoot the video in Sao Paulo, and finally watching it all come together. The video and audio turned out amazing, and it's incredible to see how far it's reaching people all over the world.

Today, I want to remind you—just as I remind myself—that it’s never a step backward in your progress to regularly focus on the basics and fundamentals. That’s where real growth happens. …….
After nearly three decades of spending time with this instrument, I’m still—maybe more than ever—fascinated by how the smallest adjustments can make the biggest difference. Something as simple as shifting the contact point on the stick by just 1 or 2 millimeters can completely change the feel and result.

It’s one of those countless reminders from the drums that details matter. The whole system is so sensitive, and that’s part of what makes it so endlessly intriguing.

It’s a constant cycle: exploring advanced concepts, pushing boundaries, and then returning to the absolute fundamentals. There’s a meditative beauty in that process.
