On Sunday 26 July, Emanuel Synagogue and Emanuel Woollahra Preschool welcomed families for another wonderful edition of Little People of the Books🐢🪼

Children (and their grown ups) enjoyed an interactive story time with beloved author and illustrator Lauren Briggs who brought the amazing story of Little Pago to life, followed by creative activities, playtime in the preschool, face painting and a delicious under-the-sea themed lunch.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for this very special morning. Keep an eye out for more programs like this to be announced over the coming months.

We will also be hosting an Open Day at Emanuel Woollahra Preschool on Sunday 16 August. If you, a friend or a loved one are beginning the search for a preschool, we’d love to see you there.

Commissioned jointly by Woollahra Council and Waverley Council, this permanent public artwork offers a meaningful space for reflection, remembrance and contemplation. This Sunday, join beloved children’s author and illustrator Lauren Briggs, who will bring her beautiful and timely story, LITTLE PAGO, to life in an engaging and interactive morning session at Emanuel Synagogue and Emanuel Woollahra Preschool.

LITTLE PAGO is about friendship, perseverance, and the important role each of us can play in keeping one of our most vulnerable sea creatures safe for future generations, and inspires little ones to turn the tide on plastic pollution in our oceans.

Following story time in our Millie Phillips Gallery, the fun will continue in the playground, where little ones can take part in arts, crafts and hands-on activities facilitated by Lauren. Families can also enjoy a delicious morning tea, lovingly prepared by Nora’s Kitchen.

Tickets are selling fast; book ASAP.
