Andrew Plastow has made the decision to end his time as our Head of College. As a founding member of Ngutu we want to acknowledge the role he has played in creating our amazing learning environment and we thank him for his service. His passion for reimagining education was evident in everything he did and our learners have always been at the heart of every decision. That approach will never change.
The greatest strength of our College is that it is bigger than any one person. Our wonderful children and young people, families, staff, Elders and supporters are all part of the exceptional learning environment we have created at Ngutu College. We know you will join us in wishing Andrew all the best for his future endeavours.
Louise Mather, our Head of Senior Campus and Sean Carey, our Head of Junior Campus will continue to provide educational leadership for the College, supported by our experienced and talented staff and the strength of our Ngutu community.
As we look ahead, we are delighted to welcome Kyran Dixon as Ngutu College's Interim Executive Director for the next 12 months. A proud Kaurna and Narungga man, Kyran has been a valued member of the Ngutu Board since 2022 and brings extensive experience across the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. His culturally safe leadership, grounded in Aboriginal governance, protocols and Country, will provide strong guidance and continuity as we begin the search for our next Head of College.
