𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙝.

Across the eastern states, NPL and state league clubs have increasingly collaborated with academies to provide academy-style football models designed to give talented young players greater alignment between their training, coaching, playing philosophy and long-term development.

The reason is simple.

When curriculum, playing ethos and qualified coaching are connected, players have a clearer platform to maximise their potential.

Football development shouldn’t feel fragmented.

𝗘𝗩𝗢 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵.

In partnership with Wanneroo City SC , we introduced our Academy-Club model in 2025. What began as a new direction for football development in WA enters its third year in 2027.

Expressions of Interest are now open for U8-U14 Boys & Girls.

Places are limited. We are looking for advanced and exceptional young footballers who can add to an already strong core of players within the program.

Our school holiday camps are back this September & October for 𝗨𝟱-𝗨𝟭𝟲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 & 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀, with programs built specifically around each stage of the player pathway.

Goalkeepers receive a dedicated half-day goalkeeper block and will join the outfield players for the other half of the camp experience.

We’re introducing Individual Player Development Reviews across our Academy-Club program — creating dedicated time to sit down with every family and have a genuine conversation about their child’s development.

Each family meets privately with their child’s Head Coach and a member of EVO’s senior football staff to discuss the individual player — not simply the performance of the team.

The conversation focuses on:

→ Progress throughout the season
→ Standout strengths and characteristics
→ Areas for continued development
→ Clear development priorities moving forward
→ The individual journey of the player
→ Questions and feedback from the family

Every player is different. Every journey is different.

We believe families should have a clear understanding of how their child is progressing, what their coaches see in them and where their attention should be directed next.

More than a report or an email, these meetings create space for meaningful face-to-face communication between the people involved in the player’s development.

As EVO continues to evolve, so does the environment we want to provide — greater individual attention, stronger coach-to-player interaction, clearer development pathways and better communication with families.

Created in 2021, the Evolution Premier League provides ambitious young footballers with the opportunity to continue training, competing and developing in a positive environment throughout the traditional off-season.

The around-the-corner pass is one of those actions that shows up everywhere in football.

Playing out from the back. Combining through midfield. Connecting around the box.

In this 1:1 practice, the focus is simple — repetitions on both feet, building the technique until the action becomes comfortable and reliable.

Not every exercise needs to be complex.

Sometimes it’s about giving players enough quality repetitions of an action they’ll be asked to execute again and again on matchday.
