A huge thank you to these fantastic Yarram Secondary College students for their support at the District Cross Country yesterday. From guiding runners around the Yarram Golf Course to offering plenty of encouragement along the way, their help played a big part in making the day such a success.

On Monday, our Year 3–6 students enjoyed an engaging and informative visit from Wellington Shire Mayor, Cindy Madeley.

As part of our students’ learning about government and civic responsibility, Mayor Madeley shared insights into the role of local government and the important work of council within our community. Students were highly engaged throughout the session and asked many thoughtful questions.

We greatly appreciated Mayor Madeley generously staying to answer the wide range of questions from our students, helping to further deepen their understanding of local leadership and community decision-making.

Thank you to Mayor Madeley for taking the time to visit Woodside Primary School and support authentic learning opportunities for our students.
