I am going to actually DO this workshop for the first time! I am VERY excited. My Margo Anton earrings receive compliments every time I wear them..I lost one..and was so distressed I had to get Margo to make another one! Then I found that one under the fridge!! So now I have three! True Story..

We are looking forward to the upcoming opening of our group exhibition Grounded that showcases works by Blue Mountains Mosaic Collective.

Opening at Braemar Gallery on Sat 29 November by Susan Templeman MP the exhibition includes mosaic works by 14 dedicated mosaicists exploring themes of place, habitat and home.

We are proud to support the Blue Mountains Conservation Society in their 25th year.

As a complement to the Feather Substrate workshops, I am also running a Feather Mosaic Workshop.
For this event we will pre-make wall hanging wing and tail feather substrates for student to choose from. We will then coach you through design, colour planning, cutting and application of the smalti tesserae.

I am running two feather substrate workshops in January following our upcoming exhibition Grounded.
In case you are wondering what a substrate is.. it is the base of form that the mosaic goes into. The feather substrates will be approx 1m in height and suitable for outdoors.
