🎶 Music on show at Braemar! 🎶

Braemar College’s musicians have taken centre stage over the past few weeks, with our Middle School Gala followed by our Senior School Gala. 🎻🎺🥁🎹

Across both evenings, our students showcased the strength, breadth and talent of the College’s music program, performing for appreciative audiences of family and friends.

Congratulations to all our performers, and thank you to our instrumental tutors, teachers and leaders whose support made both evenings possible. 👏🎵

🐾 August is nearly done — and so is Buzz!

Buzz is well on his way to completing both his 100km challenge and his fundraising goal in support of Guide Dogs, as part of Braemar College’s 50 Acts of Service for our 50th year. 🐕‍🦺💙

🏉 ICCES Football in Bendigo

Our AFL footballers recently travelled to Bendigo for the ICCES Football competition, representing Braemar with great spirit and determination.

Congratulations to all our students who competed strongly throughout the day, and a special congratulations to our Senior Girls AFL team, who were victorious! 🏆👏

Thank you to our teachers and leaders for their support and for making the day one to remember.

Jackson – More Than a Hall, a Legacy

In this episode of 50 Conversations for 50 Years, Russell sits down with David Jackson, an Old Collegian and member of Braemar College’s first Year 10 cohort in 1976.

David is also the son of Brian Jackson, Chair of the Steering Committee that helped establish Braemar College and the inaugural Chair of the Board of Governors in the College’s first year of operation.

🐾 Our 50 Acts of Service continue in Braemar College's 50th year, and this month our four-legged friend is taking on the challenge! 💙

Meet Buzz, our much-loved school therapy dog, who has signed up to support his mates the Guide Dogs this August. 🦮 His goal? To walk 100 kilometres during the month while raising funds for this incredible organisation.

📚❤️ A wonderful conclusion to this year's Great Book Swap!

At Tuesday's Middle School Assembly, our Middle School Leaders proudly presented Shelley from the Indigenous Literacy Foundation with a cheque from the funds raised across both our Woodend and Mount Macedon campuses.

It was fantastic to hear from Shelley about how these donations will help provide books and literacy resources to children and communities across Australia. 📖✨

🌏💙 As our students prepare for their upcoming overseas service journeys, it was wonderful to see our Cambodia Service Program team supporting at the recent Woodend Farmers’ Market. Every conversation and every act of support helps make a difference. 🙌
