Thank you to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, uncles and father figures who joined us for our special afternoon on Tuesday! It was a true joy to welcome you (dressed in football colours!) into our school community to celebrate the invaluable role you play in your children's lives.
We kicked off the celebrations with a lovely afternoon tea, sharing stories and delicious treats, before gathering together for a thoughtful and uplifting prayer service. To finish off the day, our students were thrilled to host you in their classrooms, proudly showing off their work and engaging in fun activities alongside their role models. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your warmth, and making the afternoon so memorable for our students. Your presence meant the so much to them! Happy Father’s Day!

As part of this term's Inquiry focus on culture, our Grade 3/4 students visited Bendigo for an excursion to The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion and The Golden Dragon Museum.
This hands-on experience directly connected to key areas of our curriculum:
Intercultural Capabilities & Asia Engagement: Supported students to deepen their understanding of cultural diversity and Australia's connections with Asia.
Religious Education: It provoked students to reflect on spiritual insights, ask questions to understand others' perspectives, and compare the Catholic Tradition with different religious and historical contexts.
It was great to hear the children share their stories and learnings from this day out. Thank you to our teachers for organising the visit and to our great students for their respectful engagement.

After a term of learning about sustainability and becoming Wildlife Warriors, our Grade 1/2 students visited the zoo to deepen their understanding of how people can help protect animals and their habitats. The excursion provided a valuable real-world learning experience, allowing students to see conservation in action, explore the connections between living things and their environments, and understand the important role we all play in caring for our planet. Thank you to our teachers and parent helpers for making this day a memorable experience.

We shared a truly heartwarming afternoon as a school community during our celebration today. It was a privilege to welcome so many mothers, grandmothers, and special persons into our grounds to celebrate the vital role you play and the deep love you share with your families. Seeing our community gather in such a supportive and connected way reminded us all of the strength found in these bonds. We extend a very happy Mother’s Day to everyone in attendance, as well as to the dedicated mums and grandmothers among our own staff.
We would like to offer our thanks to our Year 6 leaders who served as such wonderful hosts and ensured the afternoon ran smoothly. Our gratitude also goes to Fr. Zaheer for his beautiful blessing and to Katie for providing such delicious treats for us all to enjoy. It was a joy to witness the warmth and spirit of our school family coming together, and we wish all of our mothers and special figures a day filled with the love and appreciation you so richly deserve.
