New sessions being introduced for 2023: 1.5 hr hands on maths for lower primary and HASS for upper primary and high school.

Some families would like to carry on tutoring through the school holidays, so I will recommence on 4 th January for these students and for any assessments of new students. Please let me know if you would like to book in over this time.

The new term commences on Wednesday 1st February.

I am also calling for interest in a 1.5 hour HASS, and a 1.5 hour session of hands on maths for lower primary, also on Fridays.

What I do!!
- [ ] Find gaps in education
- [ ] Written report detailing level of education in maths and English
- [ ] Repeat yearly assessment detailing growth in English and maths in written report
- [ ] Program to the individual
- [ ] Tutoring-$40 ph, $50 for 3 hour group up to 6 students, homework pack $10 per subject
- [ ] Cater to family needs
When a program is individualised,the number of hours spent working on those subjects can be drastically reduced.

Want to start the homeschool journey, but don’t know where to start?

Does you child feel the work is too hard?

A standardised assessment with a written report, indicating what needs to be targeted in maths and English can help parents to program. It can identify holes in a child’s learning that could be making them feel they are not good at maths, spelling, reading or writing.

Alternatively, they could attend small group or individual tutoring sessions or have a written assessment guiding the learning for the term.

After a period of time the assessment can be repeated and a new report written, identifying what has been learned and what should be targeted next. These reports can be used in the moderator meeting.

I have an additional group tutoring session on Tuesdays. There is still 1 place available for 9am to 12 pm and 1 in the 12pm to 3pm session.

Poppy Johnston will return to class on May 26, part of the first wave of students to go back after weeks of remote learning. She isn’t looking forward to it.

Vacancies in individual tutoring sessions and small group, half day or full day English and maths.Will cover any subject (almost). $40 per hour, $50 half day small group sessions or $90 for full day: 9 to 3.
