What an incredible way to finish an unforgettable season.

Fair Play OOSH could not be prouder to be a Gold Sponsor of the Newcastle Northstars and to celebrate this amazing team as 2026 Champions! 🏆💙

For us, sponsorship has never just been about having the Fair Play name displayed. It’s about supporting the community we live and work in, supporting local sport, and getting behind the people who make it so special.

This season we’ve watched a group of players, coaches, families and supporters show incredible commitment, resilience and heart. Grand Final weekend was a reminder that sometimes sport becomes about so much more than the final score, it’s about mateship, showing up for one another and standing together through the highs and the really difficult moments.

Week five term three
Wow we can’t believe that this post marks us being half way through term three. What an amazing week it has been;

On Monday we started our week on a very creative note. Making posters featuring positive words and in arts and Craft with Cassidy got to try and new form of art by making some paper mache.

Tuesday our kids got to challenge themselves and each other by playing wordle using our whiteboard. Showing just how amazing their brains are at problem solving.

Wednesday we started our day making our own pom poms, the results were very cute and fluffy. Later on we took advantage of the amazing weather by going back out on the basketball court and the play ground where kids got to enjoy some energetic fun and practice different skills like balancing, climbing and hand eye coordination.

Thursday our kids continued to learn about cooking and food safety as they did the weekly cooking class. This week we made vanilla berry cake that we all enjoyed on Friday for afternoon tea. While those who wanted to enjoy the amazing weather some more headed outside for some free play. Engaging in different activities from running around to showing their creativity through more amazing chalk drawings and some fabulous nail designs

Friday we had so much fun to finish off our week. Inside kids got to use air dry clay to make their own creations from little snails to mini tic tac toe. Outside we got our hands dirty experimenting to find the perfect slime recipe, this was full of laughs as it got stuck to our hands, while also getting in some races in on the easy rollers

It has been such an amazing we can’t wait to see what fun we have next week 💜

Week four term three
This week has been so full of fun that it was very hard to contain it to just one post;

On Monday we started our day with lots of creativity as we coloured 🎨 in lions and even created our own masks for World Lion 🦁Day. Not stopping there we made the most of the windy weather by having a lion king movie afternoon inside. Singing and dancing along to the soundtrack while staying cozy.

Tuesday our creativity continued as our kids got the chance to make their own creations with melting beads to take home. Showing amazing talent with the imaginations and pattern creations. While some chose to be creative with their nails 💅 creating their own designs and colour combinations before asking Ruby to paint them.
Heading outside we let our sports skills and sportsman ship shine playing different games like hot potato and soccer ⚽️ .

Wednesday we tried a new activity of making our own playdough. Kids loved this and even experimented with colour theory 🎨 as they tried to mix colours together to make their own individual shade. Due to the weather we had another movie day 🎥 and even got some slime kits out to make cute slime sundaes.

Thursday kids got to do some cooking again with Petas weekly cooking 🧑‍🍳 club, making a delicious oatmeal jam slice for us all to enjoy the next day. While others took advantage of the nice weather running around outside practicing their ball skills like kicking and throwing.

Friday we got to finish our week with lots of creativity as we got out the chalk for some outdoor drawings, as well as adventuring to the basketball court to work on our sportsmanship and ball skills in a friendly competition

It has been such an amazing week full of creativity and fun 💜

Week three Term three
Week three has been such a fun week out here at FairPlay OOSH Woodberry
Starting strong on Monday our kids got to explore messy play while developing and displaying their creativity through Cassidy’s art club. Where they got to decorate their very own butterfly, making our space sparkle for the whole week.

Tuesday and Wednesday were full of fun with our resources. From showing their beading skills while making keychains, their teamwork and strength with our outdoor games like soccer. Even using the playgrounds to show off their gymnastic skills.

Thursday the fun continued as kids got to learn a new recipe and baking knowledge as they made scones in Petas cooking club. We all got to enjoy these on Friday for afternoon. . . They were delicious.

To finished up our week on Friday we got out the hula hoops and enjoyed the nice weather to celebrate the end of the week, as well as continuing our creativity by doing some fabulous nail paint.

We all look forward to the great times continuing next week 😊
