What a wonderful day students had today at sports carnival with Pingrup, Borden and Ongerup. We made new friends, ran in very windy weather and jumped like champions. Thanks to the parents for taking students to Pingrup and to Miss Jefferies for helping coach students.

Today we celebrated our amazing Education Assistants. They do so much to help and support each and every student at Woody. To Miss Jefferies, Miss Ashby and Miss Thompson we thank you for all that you do and hope you enjoyed your morning tea, cards and gifts.

Our Book Fair is on 26th & 27th August during school hours, with lots of amazing books to browse and buy!

There’s something for everyone, with a fantastic selection of books for children of all ages. 🌟

Bloom Festival Stall
We are hosting at stall at the upcoming Bloom markets. We have a range of free activities activities, sensory bubble play kinetic sand and a free Photo Booth. Call in and visit the staff and students.

Thanks to our amazing P &C
Students are enjoying their new bike helmets, experimenting on different trikes and scooters. We will have old helmets available for students or community members.
Special mention to Tegan for organising sizes and pick up.
We are in the process of purchasing new larger scooters and 2 new bikes for older students.

Science Week Celebrations at Woodanilling
Students, community members and playgroup celebrated Science Week on Friday last week. They conducted a range of experiments and then let off a Mentos rocket.
Thanks to Mrs Head for organising a great day for all of our enquiring minds.
Remember to save the date for our dad’s day burgers day. We are excited to invite members from the Men’s Shed who have been helping us with a range of projects around the school. Friday 4th September 1pm.

Principal Day celebrations
Thanks to the amazing students and incredible staff for my morning surprise and lovely morning tea. The flowers and messages from the students made my day. There must have been lots of balloon blowing

Upcoming Book Fair and week week parade
Great opportunity for some early Christmas shopping at Woodanilling Primary school Book Fair.
All are welcome to our book Week parade , playgroup and home schoolers.
The parade will be followed by an assembly
Come and join us and have a play with our new equipment
Thursday 28th August, Bookfair open from 8.30am, parade commence at 9.30.

⛺️ Fundraising for School Camp 2027 🏕️

We are excitedly planning a fun filled camp for next year. To help raise funds we are holding two community raffles featuring an electric frypan and a selection of cooking items.

Tickets are:
$2 each or 3 tickets for $5

Tickets are available at school office and Woodanilling Store.
