Year 3 students have been learning how to formulate questions, collect information and display their findings in different ways.
Students have developed their digital skills by entering their data into Excel and using it to create a variety of graphs and charts.
They are discovering how data can be organised and presented to help us identify patterns, make comparisons and share what we learn!

Grade One students made the most of the lovely weather today and took maths outside. We are learning about multiplicative thinking. We solved problems such as: if there were 8 letterboxes and 24 envelopes shared equally between them, how many letters would be in each letterbox? Or, if there were 32 children and they divided into groups of 8, how many groups would there be?

Year 6 students have been learning about statistical investigations and collecting meaningful data. Today, their question was 'What celebratory activities do Year 6 students want to do in the last three weeks of Term 4?'

With voice and agency, students collected data through a digital survey tool and then tallied all the responses, before turning their data into a display chart/graph of their choice!

Their findings will be used to help plan their end-of-year celebrations!
