Established over 100 years ago by the Josephite Sisters, the school is presently under the guidance of Fr Darren Howie. St Joseph's celebrated its centenary in 2012. Yesterday, our Prep children had a wonderful time creating Italian flag themed necklaces to celebrate Italian Day. It was lots of fun, and we also learned the names of the colours in Italian!

The Italian flag has three colours:
🟢 Verde (Green)
⚪ Bianco (White)
🔴 Rosso (Red)

We talked about how these colours come together to make the beautiful Italian flag and practised saying their Italian names. It was a fun and engaging way to learn about the Italian language and culture while getting creative! 🇮🇹

We are excited to welcome Stewart D’Silva, Psychologist, to St Joseph’s Primary School for a special ADHD Parent Night. On Thursday, August 20, beginning at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall.

Stewart works closely with children and families and is passionate about helping parents and carers better understand ADHD and how to support children at home and at school.

This is a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of ADHD and hear from a psychologist experienced in working with children and families.

All parents, carers, and anyone interested in better understanding and supporting children with ADHD are welcome!
We would love to see you there.💙
