2B were excited to have a visit from Mr Smith on Wednesday! 👋😊

After spending the last few terms as Acting Principal at Murray River Upper State School, it was lovely to see Mr Smith popping in to say hello and spend some time with the students. 🏫💙

📚🎶 BOOK WEEK 2026 – A SYMPHONY OF STORIES! 🎶📚

What a wonderful Book Week celebration we had at Mission Beach State School today! 💙📖✨

Our students embraced this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories”, by dressing up as their favourite book characters and bringing the magic of books to life! 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️👸🐻📚

The theme couldn’t have been more fitting, with our talented school band treating us to a fantastic performance 🎺🥁🎸, as well as providing the soundtrack to our amazing costume parade! 🎶🌟

There were so many creative, colourful and wonderful costumes, and it was fantastic to see the smiles and excitement from our students as they proudly showed off their characters. ❤️

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, students and families for making the day so special. It was certainly a celebration of stories, music, creativity and community! 📚🎶💫

What a great day enjoyed by everyone! 💙

🎉 Tomorrow’s the Big Day—Monty the Monstar Fun Run! 🎉
Get ready for a blast of fun! Don’t forget to bring a white shirt. We’ll provide a wristband and rainbow sunglasses and a rainbow headband at the end of the day for each student who has registered and raised funds to make the day extra colourful! 🌈🕶️
