Welcome Back to Term 4, Home School Co-op Group!
This term, we’re exploring some of the world’s most famous landmarks and learning about architecture through art! We’re kicking off our creative journey with one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks, the Sydney Opera House!
Did you know the Sydney Opera House’s unique roof design was inspired by sails and the shapes of nature? Its beautiful sail-like shells make it one of the most recognisable buildings in the world!
Our young artists will explore the building’s fascinating shapes and architectural details using pen and watercolour, bringing this Australian icon to life in their own creative way. What a wonderful way to combine art, architecture, history and a little geography while discovering the beauty of landmarks around the world!
