I’m back and ready to go after an incredible journey — not only did I get to travel and explore beautiful places with amazing food, but I also feel so grateful to have been part of the Lawn Bowls Australian Open 2025. 🎉
This experience was truly unforgettable. I met so many kind, supportive new friends and inspiring people, learned so much along the way, and even got to watch The Final right by the green — what a moment! 💚.
Feeling grateful, refreshed, and full of positive energy. I'm now back to work and happy to welcome you all again. Sessions are available by appointment as usual.

We just had a roll-up on the beautiful bowling green at Club North Haven before heading home tomorrow. Very friendly staff and a beautiful lunch — we’ll definitely be back again!😊🥰.
So, we bought other bowls shirts from them too, even though we already have almost 20 from Broadbeach! 😂. We love bowls!🥰❤️.

Update: Women's Fours
We won our first game, but lost the next two.
In the second game, we played against a team of young ladies who were finalists in the AO 2023 — and one of them had even won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games! OMG! It’s not funny… but you’ve got to laugh! 🤣
So honestly, it’s no surprise we didn't win.
Still, we gave it our all, and everyone did their best.

As the Lead, I played my heart out, but I wasn’t quite satisfied with my performance. I think I was still a bit tired from the Singles the day before.
Also, the green used for the Singles was synthetic, while yesterday’s matches were on a natural grass green — the kind I’m more familiar with.
My mind and hand just hadn’t quite adjusted yet… I’m still a newbie too!
We had so much fun and gained great experience. We got to take a photo with them too 🥰.

Update Singles:
In my first game, I won against a player from Hong Kong, 21–12.
In the second game, I won against a player from New Zealand, 21–11.
In the third game, I lost to a player from Tasmania, 21–20.

I'm so happy to have taken part in the Singles competition. It was fun, challenging, and I’m proud of how I played.
Thank you to my friends who came to cheer me on at the venue — and to those supporting me from home as well!🥰

Update:
I woke up to the beautiful morning light from the balcony at Meriton Suites Broadbeach, QLD 😊☀️🌞🌟❤️

We’re having a wonderful time here at Broadbeach for the Australian Open Lawn Bowls.

My pairs partner and I won our first game, but unfortunately lost the next two — so we didn’t make it through to the next round. Still, we’re really happy with how we played. We gave it our all, and walked away with some incredible experience and valuable lessons.

Along the way, I’ve had the chance to meet many talented and inspiring people, which has been truly motivating.

Tomorrow I’ll be competing in the Singles. I’m going to give it my absolute best and enjoy every moment. For me, this journey is about gaining experience first — and if a win comes along the way, that’s a bonus.
This trip is also a bit of a getaway — a chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and make the most of the experience beyond just the competition. 🌿🎯
