3/4 Garawan had an absolute blast learning the djembe with Mr Fields from Wollongong Conservatorium of Music!

We’re so excited to welcome Mr Fields this term and next as he shares his passion for music with all our classes.

We can’t wait to see the rhythms, skills and confidence our students build over the coming weeks!

Celebrating NAIDOC 💛🖤❤️

Our NAIDOC celebrations provided wonderful opportunities for our students to learn, connect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements.

We can't extend enough thanks to our respected elders for sharing thier stories and knowledge.

Through rich cultural activities and shared experiences, our students deepened their understanding, appreciation and respect for the world’s oldest continuing living cultures.

A wonderful celebration of culture, community, connection and learning at Bellambi Public School.

Jeans for Genes Day

Today, our school proudly joined in Jeans for Genes Day to raise awareness and funds to support children living with genetic diseases.

Our students and staff showed their support by wearing their favourite denim. Our Skipping Club, which has been running every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, has also been encouraging students to get active and skip in support of Jeans for Genes.

It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved, having fun and supporting such an important cause. Thank you to our amazing school community for helping us make a difference!

⭐️ Bright Minds of Bellambi - Warrigal ⭐️

There’s been lots happening in 1/2 Warrigal!
Students have been exploring the artwork of Henri Matisse, experimenting with colour, shape and pattern as they prepare their own creations for our upcoming Art Show.

In Writing, students have been developing their recount writing skills, using time connectives to sequence their adventures clearly.

In Mathematics, hands-on activities have helped students explore division, sharing and grouping equally.

What a wonderful display of creativity, persistence and enthusiasm for learning!

🎉Bellambi Brags!🎉
Well done to our Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Finalists, Hadi (Junior Champion) and Quinn (Senior Champion)!
Last week, they competed online against some of the best spellers from across New South Wales in a very challenging competition.
Hadi was eliminated in Round 3. It was a particularly tough round, with only three students progressing to Round 4. Quinn progressed to Round 2.
We are so proud of both Hadi and Quinn for representing our school with confidence, determination and resilience. Reaching the Regional Finals is a fantastic achievement!
