Our favorite play!
Children are encouraged to make their own playdough. While making it, we discuss the different colours and textures of playdough.
Besides hours of fun, here are many of the benefits of this amazing playing for children:
- It helps to develop fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills
- It promotes numeracy and literacy;
- It encourages children to use their creativity and imagination;
- It helps children to develop self-esteem as there is no right or wrong to play;
- It helps children to improve their social and communication skills;
- It's calming and helps children to relieve stress by using their hands and sensory qualities;

My name is Carolina, proud mum of a 3 years old boy and Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have over 6 years of experience as early childhood educator and a holistic understanding of children development.

Registered and operating within the guidelines of Early Years Care 🌳, True Colours Family Day Care is reopening in June 2021.
True Colours Family Day Care is located in a beautiful and quiet suburb of Braemar in the Southern Highlands NSW. 🍁🍃🍂
We are a home based Family Day Care services providing a nurturing, safe, clean and creative environment for children from 6 months to 5 years old 🏠
At first we will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 4:30am.

True Colours Family Day Care is moving from Illawarra to Southern Highlands.
I will start my service soon, once I finish set up and organise all the paperwork.
I’m looking forward to meet new children, parents and friends.
