Meet Isy, our Assistant Head of Campus.

With years of experience across primary education, school leadership, special education and community programs, Isy brings a wealth of knowledge to Novo.

Her career has taken her from classrooms in Sydney to educational leadership, parenting programs, curriculum development and even supporting education initiatives overseas. Along the way, she's remained passionate about creating environments where people feel supported to learn and grow.

Today, Isy plays an important role in supporting our students, families and the team, helping to create the welcoming, flexible learning environment Novo is known for.

A huge thank you to Darryl Kelly for visiting Novo and sharing his knowledge and experiences with our students.

We were also honoured to have the Nowra Legacy Group and the Keith Payne VC Veterans' Benefit Group entrust Novo Shoalhaven with the care of the Australian National Flag, marking an important milestone in its journey.

Opportunities to hear from guest speakers help bring learning to life, spark meaningful conversations and encourage students to see history through a different perspective.

"To me, Novo means community, providing a safe and enriching environment for all students to learn and grow. Working with our young people and seeing them succeed and grow is such a joy and a great part of my job."

Our team is passionate about creating an environment where every student feels supported, valued and encouraged to take their next step.

This Thursday, we are holding a Market Day.

Drop by from 11am to 1pm, at 50 Auburn St for a relaxed morning browsing handmade arts and crafts, second hand finds, food and drink and a few games along the way. Grab a sausage sizzle and drink for $5.

Our Year 12 students recently received their personalised senior hoodies, marking an exciting chapter in their final year at Novo.

It's a special tradition that celebrates how far they've come and the journey still ahead. We're proud to celebrate this milestone alongside them.

A special thank you to Mindful Merch, an Australian company we chose to partner with because of our shared values, and to Organic Tees for bringing the hoodies to life through their embroidery and screen printing.

Our students had the opportunity to visit the University of Wollongong for Discovery Day, learning more about university life, different courses and the many opportunities available after school. Experiences like these help students explore their options and feel more confident about the future.

Our excursion to Symbio Wildlife Park gave students the opportunity to experience hands-on learning while enjoying time outdoors with their peers.

It's all part of creating meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
