After much thought and with heavy hearts, Stuart and I have made the difficult decision that Woodfest 2025 was our final event, and there will be no Woodfest in 2026.

As our lives and commitments continue to evolve, with the Illawarra Woodwork School growing and an increasing demand for workshops, we have had to make a decision about where we can best focus our time and energy. Along with the challenges of the current global climate, we feel this is the right time to close this chapter.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank every single person who has been part of the Woodfest journey from 2017 to 2025. To our dedicated volunteers, talented exhibitors, demonstrators, sponsors, supporters, and every visitor who walked through the gates - you are the reason Woodfest became what it was.

What began as a grassroots idea grew into a wonderful community that celebrated craftsmanship, creativity, connection, and learning. The friendships made, the skills shared, and the memories created over the years are something we will always treasure.

Thank you for believing in Woodfest, supporting our vision, and being part of such a special journey. We are incredibly proud of everything we achieved together and will look back on these years with immense gratitude.

With sincere thanks,
Stuart & Suzanne
