It was an incredible experience and a real honour to join such an accomplished and inspiring group of researchers and clinicians from around the world at the 2026/27 International Olympic Committee (IOC) Consensus on Exercise and Pregnancy in Recreational and Elite Athletes, held at IOC Headquarters. The recommendations we developed will make a real difference for women, supporting them as both mothers and elite athletes, and helping pregnant women and mothers stay active and healthy.

Breast Research Australia was very proud to contribute to the Oceania Football Confederation and FIFA Performance Project, striving to improve the sporting equipment and medical support of the Pacific Islands National Women's teams competing in the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers in the Cook Islands this November.

Breast Research Australia educated the players on breast health and fitted them in supportive sports bras supplied by FIFA and the OFC.

We were very proud to be a part of team OFC, doing such impactful work for the Pacific Islands' womens football players.

Thank you to the wonderful people of Cook Islands for hosting such a great competition! Looking forward to continuing such great work in the Solomon Islands and Fiji as the Women's World Cup Qualifiers continue in February and March 2026!
