Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival

Applications for the 2026 Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival are officially open!

We look forward to our 69th year of choral singing at the Wollongong Town Hall.

Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival is back at the Wollongong Town Hall in 2025 from Thursday 31 July - Thursday 7 August.

Applications close Thursday 13 February 2025.

Today, students from Corrimal East Public School (Official), Stanwell Park Public School, Warilla Public School, Port Kembla Public School, Bellambi Public School and Austinmer Public School attended our final cluster rehearsal for Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival 2024.

All students represented their schools wonderfully, showing enthusiasm and dedication to our mass choir items.

We look forward to Tuesday 6 August - Thursday 8 August, where 21 schools from across the Illawarra will come together during Education Week, to showcase their talents at The Wollongong Town Hall.

for a wonderful cluster rehearsal today.

Over the past two Tuesdays, 15 schools participating in this year's Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival have come together for their preliminary cluster rehearsals. It has been a wonderful opportunity to sing together as a mass choir and learn choralography for our performances in Education Week 2024!

🎶 Highlights from Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival 2023 🎶
This week we'll be sharing with you some of the highlights of the wonderful songs that were performed at our festival.

Our finale "Coming Home" was an energetic and upbeat song which ended each evening with a roar of applause and cheering from our audience!

A special thank you to each and every family member, friend and Department of Education staff member who supported this year's Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival.

The festival committee thanks all 18 schools for their participation in 2023 and looks forward to our 67th Wollongong Schools' Choral Festival in 2024!
