Shugyo Martial arts is a Taekwondo based martial arts school located at Woonona Public School, that offers classes and training to all ages. A true culmination of self defence, physical and mental fitness and family values. Our school strives to create empowered young individuals and build confidence, not only in protecting themselves, but being more outgoing and disciplined. Our aim is to give children, youth and adults a place that is not only a second home, but an environment where they feel comfortable and can learn self defence and respect. In society today, children can become glued to their devices and technology, through martial arts, we are able to re-direct their focus and passion into a physical activity that teaches our young people discipline and ongoing respect, inside and outside the training hall. Our dedicated instructors are passionate about helping and teaching, not only youth but all ages, feel free to start your own martial arts journey with your children within our multiple junior and senior classes running each and every week. It is never too late to try something new, we have many dedicated and dynamic adult martial artists, sometimes the decision to start is the hardest part, but once you start, you will never want to stop.
