It’s been a minute since I’ve posted - have been busy!
I’m pleased to share that the M Pilates and Movement studio has relocated to a new space.
While the address has changed, my commitment to delivering personalised, high-quality sessions remains exactly the same. You can continue to expect the same level of individual attention, tailored programming, and professional support that you value.
Our new location has been thoughtfully chosen to provide an environment that continues to support your movement, strength, and overall well being.
The new studio address is at: 4/36-42 Auburn Street, Wollongong (inside “Humans in Movement Pilates studio”). For all bookings and enquiries contact me directly or refer to the website for more details.

💙🧡 MAT FUSION - PILATES & STRENGTH 🧡💙
I’m excited to announce a Pop-Up class with a special guest instructor and good friend of mine, Gaby. This class will be held on Saturday 28th March 2026 at 7am in place of the usual Pilates circuit class.
Mat Fusion - what is it?
Mat Fusion is a mat based Pilates class that incorporates weight training exercises.
The first part of the class, works on mobility and abdominals to prepare the mind and body for the full body movements.
Using hand weights and weight training exercises, you will aim to work close to the limit. It’s a great combination that will work and challenge your body, with a lovely stretch and relaxing set to finish off the class.
Price: $25 - bookings are essential. Through the website in the bio or message Maria.

I’m excited to finally announce the first of our new classes at M Pilates.
Listening to your feedback, I’ve designed these focused new class options starting Saturday 14th February ❤️
Pilates for 🦴, Balance 🧘♀️ & Strength 💪
A circuit-style class, combining the focus & control of Pilates with exercises designed improve bone health, balance, & build functional strength.
It’s a great class for anyone working toward their long term health and well being.

Prenatal Pilates 🤰 - 37 weeks baby #2 - keeping the prenatal body moving; staying strong & connected to your body; preparing for labour.
Here are some of my favourite prenatal Pilates exercises that I teach Mummas to be when they’re on the “home stretch”. 😅
🌟 Slide 1: Using the trapeze table and balanced body spine corrector: Supine arm work using light hand weights. The spine corrector helps to elevate the client to a comfortable position and use balls to support the head and pelvis.
🌟 Slide 2: Side lying glutes on the spine corrector gives support to the prenatal client where it’s needed. Some waving and thoracic openings added in for a lovely upper body stretch.
🌟 Slide 3: footwork on the reformer using the spine corrector for support.
🌟 Slide 4: Seated pulling straps on reformer.
🌟 Slide 5: Side reach with rotation in the Wunda chair gives a lovely lateral stretch and assists with breathing into the ribs and giving some relief during this time of the pregnancy.
🌟 Slide 6: Hip flexor stretch on fitball. Gives some release to the hip flexors without over stretching which can create disfunction in SIJ and lumbar.
