Nothing kills a tradie's morning faster than being turned around at site induction because you’re missing the right ticket! A big question we hear every single week is: Which ticket do you actually need on site?
Here is the essential breakdown before you step up to the gate:
Working at Heights (1 Day): Essential if your boots are touching roofs, scaffolding, or working alongside edge protection. This covers harness inspections, anchor points, and static line systems. EWP Yellow Card & WP: Required to drive, position, and operate elevated machinery like scissor lifts and knuckle boom lifts.
Here’s the catch: an EWP ticket doesn't certify you for static height work, and a heights ticket won't let you operate a scissor lift!
Pro Tradie Tip: Bundle both qualifications together to avoid site induction fails and guarantee you never miss a day on the tools.

You inspect the slings and chains, determine the load center, connect the rigging, and guide multi-ton picks safely using radio and hand signals. Mastering do***ng opens the door to the top tiers of the trade:
Step 3 (Basic Rigging RB): Static load rigging, winch operations, and structural steel er****on.
Step 4 (Intermediate Rigging RI): Complex rigging geometry, heavy precast concrete placement, and dual crane lifts! Holding high-risk rigging tickets keeps you in constant demand across major infrastructure, commercial high-rises, and industrial sites.
