Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Licence – Step Up to Articulated Rigs 🚛🛣️
Ready to transition to heavy articulated rigs, prime movers, and semi-trailers?
To drive heavy articulated combination vehicles towing trailers with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) greater than 9 tonnes, you need a Heavy Combination (HC) Licence.
In NSW, you can't jump straight from a car licence to a semi-trailer. You must hold an active MR or HR licence for at least one year first. Once you meet that stepping stone, AOTA can get you qualified with our intensive, accredited 1-day practical training blocks!
Choose your pathway:
🟢 Automatic / Synchromesh ($2,275.00): Master modern articulated logistics. Places a 'B Condition' restriction on your articulated configurations.
