Metabolism 101�

Your metabolism is so critical for weight loss because it is responsible for how many calories your body burns at rest. Everyones metabolism is different based on genetics, body make up & also lifestyle behaviours�

�For me this is by far the leanest and biggest I have ever been & right now I am cutting (in an energy deficit) and still consuming 2700 calories a day. This is thanked due to my high metabolism�

I have gone through some cuts (weight loss faces before) and I always cut my calories drastically. I either wasn’t tracking and just starving myself or I was tracking but only eating around 2000 calories. This hurt my metabolism and although resulted in fast weight loss, I lost muscle & eventually my fat loss stopped because of metabolic adaptation. My body essentially got used to only eating so little calories and hence my metabolism dropped�

�So whats the message from this post?�

�Don’t starve yourself when dieting! All you will do is hurt your metabolism and hinder your continued progress. Do it slowly. Remember the turtle beats the rabbit

For a lot of people having abs is one of there major motivators for working out

So, how do you get abs?

To get abs you need to be a low body fat %. Everyone has abs but your fat is just covering it. So the immediate goal should be to be in a calorie deficit to lose fat and then your abs will come out

However training abs is still beneficial and can give them better shape & defintion

Some of my favourite ab exercises are;
The hanging leg raise, cable crunch, cable Russian twist & ab rollout

*INCREDIBLE TRANSFORMATION Jordy *

I have been training Jordy for a couple of months now and I cannot believe how much he has changed.

He has lost 11kg and 18cm of his waist. He has lost a heap of weight but at the same time gained a lot of strength, muscle & fitness.

I am so proud of this absolute legend.
