After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in theatre studies & communications, Anna-Maria's journey in the film industry shifted toward directing.

She pursued excellence & undertook a Masters of Media and Production program at the University of Technology Sydney.

ARC Production's Anna-Maria Barbaro is from the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. She spent her early years studying acting and honing her skills until her mid-20s. During this time, she focused on the Meisner technique and Practical Aesthetics.
