i98 Illawarra Convoy is on this Sunday. Levi has his name on a truck this year thanks to Ben Burton. Jayde and Jayson are very good friends of ours, and we love this family dearly. They struggle from day to day but still manage to smile and keep their little family strong. Levi couldn't have asked for better parents and is a very lucky boy to have such a life filled with so much love by his mum and dad and two little sisters.

Levi suffers a very rare condition known as Pelizaeus–Merzbacher disease. The disease is one in a group of genetic disorders collectively known as leukodystrophies that affect growth of the myelin sheath, the fatty covering—which acts as an insulator—on nerve fibers in the central nervous system. The several forms of Pelizaeus–Merzbacher disease include classic, connatal, transitional, and adult variants.
Milder mutations of the PLP1 gene that mainly cause leg weakness and spasticity, with little or no cerebral involvement, are classified as spastic paraplegia 2 (SPG2).

No cure or standard treatment for Pelizaeus–Merzbacher disease has been developed.[3] Outcomes are variable: people with the most severe form of the disease do not usually survive to adolescence, although with milder forms, survival into adulthood is possible.

Levi really only has one and half lungs working due to his bad Scoliosis and the cpap has to get air in to his other lung , he has medication from 7am till 11.30pm at night , tube feed , bed bound . He has been through so much but still manages to smile everyday, slowly he is deteriorating though .

As a strong community, lets get the word out there for Levi's condition and support this fantastic cause helping raise money for these little legends that battle and soldier on and to all the little angels who have lost their battle.
