Our K-2 students had a wonderful day trip to Thalgarrah last week! They had so much fun exploring nature, learning about reptiles and insects, and sharing the experience with their friends. It was a fabulous day full of smiles, excitement, and new discoveries. We’re so proud of our students for getting involved and can’t wait for our next adventure!

Our students had a fantastic time at Thalgarrah last week alongside friends from Ebor PS, Bald Blair PS, and Black Mountain PS. The boys showed courage when they held the python, and they were also adventurous enough to try some insect treats. Everyone really enjoyed the experience and made fun, lasting memories together.

❄️ What a fantastic day our students had with our Snow Gums Alliance friends at Black Mountain Public School yesterday!

To celebrate Public Education Week, everyone came together to enjoy fun art activities, a Multimedia/Games Artist session, the Festival of Delusion, and a Lyambay Dancers Workshop.

We also had a special treat from our friends at Backtrack, who performed their fantastic dog jump show. All the students worked together to help little Whisky the dog reach the top by lying down and creating a ramp with their bodies—what a team effort!

It was wonderful to connect and celebrate with our friends from across the alliance. Moments like these show the strength and joy of our public education community! 🎨🎮💃

🎉 Public Education Week Awards Ceremony 🎉

We are very proud of Ashley Brett, our School Admin Manager, who received a Public Education Award yesterday at the ceremony held at Sandon Public School. Her dedication to supporting our students, staff, and families is truly inspiring.

We also congratulate our student, Rory Frizell, who received an award for his outstanding academic achievements in Stage 3 Maths.

Thank you, Ashley and Rory, for your hard work, enthusiasm, and contributions to our school. Your achievements are a testament to the values of public education, and we look forward to seeing all the great things you will accomplish in the future! 👏🏆

What an exhilarating evening it was last Friday night at the Let’s Hang It! Awards! We are proud to share that BOTH of our talented nominees, C**t and Rory, received Highly Commended distinctions from the judges for their impressive artworks. Congratulations to both boys on this fantastic achievement—your creativity and dedication truly stood out!

Our Stage 3 boys had a truly wonderful time at the WILDArts Camp last week in Dubbo 🦒

Our Creative Cubs embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, courage and an incredible willingness to have a go. They danced, painted, performed, filmed, sketched, explored, laughed, encouraged one another and stepped outside their comfort zones in ways that made us immensely proud.
