📚✨ BOOK WEEK AT ECPS! ✨📚

What better way to celebrate our love of reading than with a Book Week Parade?! 🎉📖

Our school was transformed into a wonderful world of characters as our students and staff arrived dressed as some of their favourite book characters! 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️🧚‍♀️🐻 From magical heroes or villains and adventurous characters to colourful and creative costumes, we loved seeing everyone's imagination come to life! 🌈✨

A huge thank you to our amazing students, families and staff for getting into the Book Week spirit and making the day so much fun! 💙

⛵📚 YEAR 3 ADVENTURE TO POLLY WOODSIDE! 📚⛵

What a fantastic last two days our Year 3 students had exploring the historic Polly Woodside in Melbourne! ⚓️🌊

Students stepped back in time as they explored the ship, discovered what life was like for sailors and learned all about Melbourne’s maritime history. From climbing aboard to discovering the stories of the people who travelled on the ship, it was a day full of curiosity, learning and adventure! 🗺️🔎✨

A big thank you to our wonderful Year 3 teachers and staff for making the excursion such a memorable experience for our students! 💙

And just like that, our time at Forest Edge has come to an end! ⛺️

It has been an incredible few days at camp, filled with late-night chats and laughs in the cabins, cozy hot chocolate and popcorn during movie night, new places to explore, new adventures, challenges completed and experiences that are out of this world! Not to mention the beautiful nature all around us to admire.

Just like Friday, we managed to squeeze in one activity and meal before it was time to pack up!

Some quotes/ highlights said from our campers:
🌳“Id rate the experience 9.5/10, the only reason why it wasn't a 10/10 is because we didn't stay longer"
🌳"We can come back on Monday, right? Just 2 more days"

Get ready, parents and carers, our students are coming home with full hearts, tired eyes and plenty of stories to share and celebrate!

Our ECPS Victorian State School Spectacular performers at rehearsal today! Not long to go now!

The year 6 students of ECPS are having an absolute blast at camp! ⛺️🌳🎯
From making damper around the campfire to taking on the archery range, flying fox, bush walking, rock climbing wall, and tackling tricky riddles and puzzles, there’s never a dull moment!

They’ve also enjoyed a fun-filled trivia night last night, with a question for everyone to celebrate, alongside a Movie night tonight with some yummy snacks and laughter with our friends!

Best of all, the kids are loving life in their cabins, making memories with their friends, embracing every adventure, and being well-fed with five meals a day! 🤩

We've been lucky enough to see some Native Australian animals too! Like the Wallabies, Kangaroos and Kookaburras!

It’s safe to say they’re having the best time, making incredible memories, and soaking up every moment of this amazing camp experience - From ECPS at Forest Edge! 🫶🏽

🎉 WEEK 6 FRIDAY ASSEMBLY! 🎉

What a fantastic way to wrap up Week 6 at ECP! (over half way till the end of term)💙✨

We were treated to a wonderful dance performance from some of our talented students who are involved in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular! 💃🕺 Their hard work and dedication certainly shone through, and we look forward seeing them perform on Saturday, 29th August 2026 at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne Park . 🌟

We also celebrated the results of our N**e Food Competition! 🍎🥪🌱 A huge congratulations to McDonald House, who took home some well-deserved house points! 🏆💚

A big round of applause for all our students who continue to get involved, show their talents and make our school community so special! 👏✨

🔬✨ SCIENCE DAY AT ECPS! ✨🔬

What a day of discovery, curiosity and hands-on learning at Edgars Creek Primary School! 🧪🧠🌟

Our students had an incredible time watching an exciting science show and getting involved in a whole day of fun science activities, experiments and challenges! From exploring how things work to asking questions and making discoveries, there was plenty of science happening all across ECPS. 🧬⚗️🔎

We love seeing our students get curious, have fun and discover the amazing world of science! 💙

🎁 Father's Day Stall – is coming! 💙

Our annual Father's Day Stall will be held across three days to give all students the opportunity to purchase a special gift for the father figures in their lives.

🗓 Wednesday 2nd September
🗓 Thursday 3rd September
🗓 Friday 4th September

Each class will attend the stall during a scheduled time across the three days, giving every student the chance to choose a thoughtful gift.
