BOOK WEEK

Book Week has ended on a high, with students and staff dressing up as some of their favourite book characters! It was fantastic to see so many creative costumes around the school and everyone getting involved. What a fun way to finish Week 7! 📚✨

HEIDE EXCURSION

Our VCE Art students enjoyed an inspiring excursion to Heide Museum of Modern Art!

Students explored the Tucker Gallery, Heide Cottage and the Brassaï exhibition through guided tours, asking thoughtful questions and gaining valuable insights into the art of curation.

A fantastic day of learning and artistic discovery was had! 🎨✨🖼️

YEAR 7 BASKETBALL

Our Year 7 students had a wonderful day competing in basketball at Interschool Sports the other week! Lots of fun and plenty of wins made the day extra special! 🏀👏

YEAR 8 FOOD TECHNOLOGY

An exciting lesson for some of our Year 8 students as they stepped into the kitchen for the very first time!

Students began developing their food preparation skills, learning kitchen safety, and building confidence while creating delicious pizza scrolls.

A fantastic start to their food tech journey... and they looked pretty tasty too! 🍕😋

VCE EXPO EVENING

Thank you to our Year 10 students and families who joined us for our VCE Expo Evening. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their senior secondary subject options, speak with our teaching staff, and connect with representatives from universities and TAFE providers about future pathways. ✏️📚✨

A reminder that our Year 10 Course Counselling Day will be held next Wednesday, 22 July. Please ensure you have booked a time via Compass with one of our staff members to discuss subject selections and plan your pathway for Years 11 and 12.

Pyjamas, hot chocolate, snacks, and a screening of the Unit 4 English film in the theatre, a fun way for our Year 12 students to enjoy their English studies and spend some time together! 🖤☕️🎬

Our Year 7 students looked at evaporation and crystallisation in a recent practical session, observing how crystals form as water evaporates from a solution.

This practical activity helped students connect scientific theory with real world observations! 👩🏾‍🔬🔥⚗️

Our Year 9 students are creating ceramic vessels that tell a story about who they are. Inspired by artists who use clay to explore identity and personal experiences, students are designing pieces that reflect their own memories and interests.
