🎉 Father’s Day Raffle! 🎉

Looking for a great way to celebrate Dad, Grandad or another special father figure this Father’s Day? Our Wollert Primary School Father’s Day Raffle is now underway!

We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a 1-night stay at Mantra Epping with breakfast, 3 months of unlimited BFT classes, a Mowersaurus package, vouchers for local favourites, family entertainment and plenty of other great prizes!

🎟️ Raffle tickets have already been sent home to families, so make sure you get your tickets in for your chance to win!

Winners will be drawn at our Storytime Assembly on Thursday 3rd September.

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful local businesses who have donated prizes and supported our school community. We are so grateful for your generosity!

It’s Book Week! This year, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has chosen Symphony of Stories as the theme, celebrating the wonderful world of books, stories, characters and the imagination they inspire.

And now for the big reveal… 👀

And a reminder that our Book Week Parade is happening this Thursday!

Students are encouraged to dress up as a character from their favourite book.
Parents and carers are very welcome to join us and enjoy the parade with our school community.

To celebrate Father’s Day, we’re inviting all the wonderful Men of Wollert to join us at Wollert Primary School for a special breakfast! 💙

Come along for a relaxed morning with our school community, enjoy some sausages and vegetable patties, have a chat and celebrate the amazing men who are part of our Wollert community.

It’s so great seeing our team learning, having fun and getting involved - especially when the cameras are out!

We love capturing the many ways our teachers & education support team work alongside our students each day, whether that’s supporting learning in the classroom, working with students in small groups, or helping create engaging and positive learning experiences.

It’s wonderful to see our students so engaged, confident and enjoying their learning, while our staff bring so much care, energy and enthusiasm to everything they do.

Welcome Back, Sharon!

We are so excited to welcome Sharon back to Wollert Primary School as she returns from family leave!

Some of you may remember Sharon from her time in the classroom - or perhaps from the colourful creations and occasional messes in the Art Room!

After a few years away enjoying a different kind of adventure, raising her 5-year-old son and 1.5-year-old daughter, Sharon is ready to step back into school life and reconnect with our students and community.

Sharon has shared:

"I have missed the energy of school life so much. I can't wait to start building strong relationships with students again and empowering young minds to learn and grow. See you all soon!"

We are thrilled to have you back, Sharon! We can't wait to see the energy, creativity and care you bring to our school community once again.

WE’RE HIRING - JOIN THE WOLLERT PRIMARY SCHOOL COMMUNITY!

Wollert Primary School is looking for a Psychologist (two days per week) to join our already well-established Wellbeing and Allied Health team, including Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative, forward-thinking school community where student wellbeing is genuinely at the heart of what we do.

The role will involve:
- Assessment and reporting
- Behavioural/Social recommendations
- Consultation with students, families and staff
- Classroom support

We are passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can thrive, and we value the expertise that our Wellbeing and Allied Health team brings to our school community.

📚 Psychologist - Part-Time, Fixed Term
📅 Commencing: 5 October 2026
⏰ 2 Days Per week
📆 Fixed term until 17 December 2027 with potential for extension.

Meet Nicole! 🖐🏼

We’re excited to introduce you to Nicole, who joined the Wollert Primary School team in Term 2 as our Administration Officer and receptionist.

Since joining us, Nicole has quickly become a familiar and friendly face around our school. Whether she’s supporting our staff, helping our families or keeping things running behind the scenes, Nicole is always ready to lend a hand. We’re so happy to have her as part of our team!

We asked Nicole to tell us a little about herself…

"Hi everyone!

My name is Nicole, and I’m so excited to be part of the Wollert Primary School community as the Administration Officer.

I really enjoy building positive relationships with students, staff and families, and I’m always happy to help wherever I can. I love being part of a supportive school environment and contributing to all the wonderful things that happen here each day.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, training therapy dogs and getting out in nature whenever I can. I’m also a proud Saints supporter and always love talking footy!

I’m looking forward to getting to know more of our wonderful students, families and staff throughout the year and becoming an even bigger part of the Wollert Primary School community.

📚✨ Our Book Fair is Here This Week! ✨📚

Get ready to discover some amazing new books at the Wollert Primary School Book Fair! Whether your child loves adventure, mystery, animals or laughs, there's something for every reader.

📍 Location: Eucalyptus Learning Hub (enter via the Central Playground)

Opening Times:
- Before school: 8:45am – 9:15am (Tuesday to Friday only)
- After school: 3:10pm – 3:45pm (Monday to Friday)

Please note: Card/EFTPOS payments only.

Every purchase helps support our school library and encourages a love of reading in our students.

We can't wait to see our families throughout the week! Which book do you think your child will be excited to bring home? Let us know in the comments!
