Community & corporate teams enjoy the thrill of dragon boat racing as they venture onto the water, many of them for the first time.

The Regatta is a fundraiser to support people diagnosed with a cancer diagnosis and the Dragon Boat Club.

Brave Hearts Ceremonial Picnic
held Sunday, 21st March 2021

The Ceremonial Picnic started in the rain and finished with the sun shining. The rain did not stop the sales of plants, Brave Hearts books, jewellery, Alan Bowater’s book, and other crafts. Sales of sausages, homemade burgers, and drinks contributed to a successful ceremonial picnic.

Our moving remembrance ceremony brought people out into the sun to watch and participate in a paddle on the lake and laying of hearts on the water, listening to beautiful songs and a moving speech. The picnic ended with Brave Hearts member, Tony Purtell, having his head and beard shaved and raising funds for Brave Hearts on the Murray Inc.

We appreciate the volunteers and donation of services from the following people:
Volunteers
John Walker
Albury Sound and Lighting
Venetia Heath
Max Copeland
North East Water
Bunnings
Agboss
Espresso Coffee
Brave Hearts members

Brave Hearts thanks everyone who attended, watched, purchased, participated, and donated to a successful Ceremonial Picnic.
