Over the past five years, you have both become such valued members of our Village family. Your care, dedication and commitment to our children, families and team has made such a beautiful impact, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you bring to our service each and every day.

7 Years of Bianca 🫶🏼

Some people simply come to work each day, and then there are people who become part of the heart and history of a place. For us, that person is Bianca.

Bianca has been part of our Village story right from day one, and over the years she has worn many different hats, stepped into countless roles and supported our children, families and team in more ways than we could ever count.

Through all the changes and growth over the past seven years, one thing has always remained the same Bianca has been there. Today, she truly is the heart and face of our Village, welcoming our families each day with that familiar smile and somehow knowing just about everything there is to know about our service!

And of course, anyone who knows Bianca knows there is another very important part of who she is… she is a die hard Collingwood supporter! There is certainly never any confusion about who she’s backing when footy season rolls around!

Bianca, we are incredibly lucky to have shared these seven years with you. Thank you for your loyalty, your knowledge, the relationships you’ve built, the memories you’ve helped create and, most importantly, for caring so deeply about our Village and every person within it.

We’re so proud of everything Village Early Education has become over the past seven years, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with the families and community who have been part of our journey.

Halve Waste! ♻️

Last week our children enjoyed a visit from Sarah for our Halve Waste incursion!

The children learnt all about composting through a fun compost recipe song - one bucket of green, two buckets of brown, then mix it all around!

They explored how food scraps, grass, leaves, cardboard and paper can be turned into compost, and learnt what belongs in our red, green and yellow bins.

Such a fun, hands on way to help our little children understand how they can care for our environment and reduce waste!

Our 3 & 4 Year Old Kindergarten children are offered the opportunity to take part in our Bush Kinder program throughout Terms 2 & 3.

Bush Kinder is all about getting outdoors, getting dirty, digging holes, exploring, discovering and learning through nature. 🪵🍃🐞

It also gives our children meaningful opportunities to acknowledge and build respect for the land we learn and play on, while developing confidence, curiosity and independence.

Today our Village was filled with a whole lot of YELLOW as we came together to recognise R U OK? Day!

From our educators and children dressing in yellow, to hands on sensory experiences and meaningful moments of connection, today was all about one simple but powerful message a conversation can make a difference.

We were also incredibly spoilt with these beautiful R U OK? cookies, lovingly made by Cara, one of our wonderful Village family members. Thank you for helping make our day that little bit extra special!

☀️🌈 SUNSHINE = SENSORY PLAY IS BACK! 🙌🏼

The warmer weather has arrived and our sensory trays are officially back in full swing… and it’s safe to say our children are LOVING it!

Squishing, scooping, pouring, creating, exploring and of course getting VERY messy, because some of the best learning happens when little hands are busy!

From ocean adventures and messy mud to colourful creations and nature inspired play, every tray brings a new opportunity to explore, discover and learn together.

More sunshine + more messy play = very happy children 🫶🏼

💙 FATHER’S DAY AT VILLAGE 💙

That early morning start was certainly worth it, our Father’s Day Breakfast was sensational! 🥓🍳

A massive thank you to all of our dads, mums and special people who joined us for breakfast this morning. We loved seeing so many of our Village families together, sharing a feed and starting the day with us.

A special thank you to Dylan & Abbey and Luke & Cara for generously donating their farm fresh eggs, and to Tram & Huy from Chiltern Bakery for our delicious freshly baked rolls!

We absolutely love being able to support and showcase the small businesses within our own Village community when bringing our events to life. It makes days like today that little bit more special.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our wonderful dads & special people! 🫶🏼
